I am honest and trustworthy, and I am not a smoker, nor do I drink when I am housesitting and pet sitting.  I believe that when I take care of someone's home, that I must respect and care for their home and pets as I would my own.  I am happy to provide references.

 

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, I have lived in Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, Colorado, as well as San Miguel de Allende and Capital Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico.  I enjoy a nomadic lifestyle, and I have been traveling all my life, throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, Italy, and the Islands of the Caribbean.

 

With a professional background in Banking, Hotel Management, and Advertising, I enjoyed my work in sales, marketing and public relations in all three industries for major corporations.  Also a small business entreprenuer, I owned a catering business and two small Bed & Beakfast inns in both Atlanta and Athens, Georgia, as well as a promotional advertising agency serving international corporate clients.

 

Since over the years, I owned two beautiful homes, one on five acres near the Chattahoochee National Forest in the mountains of North Georgia, and the other in the city of Atlanta, I understand how to manage a home and property and how to run bed & breakfast inns and hotels!

 

I retired from my business career in 2009 and have since discovered that this experience, along with my skills serve me well as a housesitter, innkeeper and pet sitter.  Because I enjoy traveling and meeting new people, seeing new places, and learning about other cultures and ways of life, I decided to start housesitting around the world in 2014.
